Quality AssuranceAbility to monitor and maximize quality. Greenpak ensures that quality control documents are available where the tasks are performed to insure the employees can fulfill their quality responsibilities. Quality documentation consists of documents and data from internal and external sources. Specifications, inspection forms, JTP's etc. These documents are reviewed annually to determine the need for revisions. Upon receipt of purchased products, a visual inspection is conducted to verify conformance to Customer required specifications. Any discrepancies are documented and maintained for supplier evaluations. Management at each operation is responsible for controlling the operating processes. The procedures and instructions necessary for the processes can be found in the departments Job Task Procedures Manual. Monitoring and inspection are performed at various stages of the production process. Monitoring includes measuring and visual inspections of the product. Collecting data to insure the process meets customer requirements. When monitoring indicates these requirements are not being met immediate corrective action is be taken to insure the requirements are met. A final inspection is made of all orders which are stored or handled at our facilities before delivery to the customer. Final inspection includes a visual check of the product, packaging and overall quality. As well as, verification of the sales order for type, quantity, delivery location, and completeness of accompanying documentation. Products may not be released for delivery unless all required inspections have been completed. Records are maintained at each operation providing evidence of the inspections on received and processed products. Records shall identify the individual (s) who conducted the inspections and clearly show whether the product has passed or failed the inspection. These inspection processes will be used in all stages of the fabrication process to prevent improper use or delivery of non-conforming products. Products which do not pass inspection are segregated from acceptable products and tagged until final disposition is determined by management. Greenpak recognizes the need for prompt, effective corrective and preventive action to maintain and improve the quality system. Corrective action is taken to correct non-conformances and prevent their reoccurrence. Preventive action is necessary to eliminate the causes of potential non-conformance. Documented procedures are established for corrective action when non-conformances occur. Internal quality audits are performed in accordance to the Internal Quality Audit Job Task Procedures to determine the level of compliance to the specified customer requirements. These audits serve as an important monitoring tool in evaluating the effectiveness of the quality system. Audit results are documented and reported to management. Corrective actions are specified to correct any deficiencies uncovered during the audit. Follow-up audits will record the effectiveness of the corrective action. Training is a continuous function designed to insure that all employees are knowledgeable and capable of performing their assigned Job task. Quality training is given to all employees to provide quality awareness and skills to strengthen their ability to continually improve their job performance. Department Supervisors are responsible for providing quality training and reviewing the training needs of their employees. In order to meet our quality policy - on a continuous basis, Greenpak will strive to reduce variability, improve productivity, and minimize risk. On Seaport-e Task Orders, these goals will be met by the following:
